First day in school at a JC along Bukit Timah Road.
Mr A** the principal addresses the whole cohort in the auditorium.
Principal: Welcome to the XX farm-i-ly. I hope you all…
Me: Huh? Farm? hmm…
P: … concentrate on your AIR-level examinations….
Me: Wah lau… i knew the A levels weren’t really that important.
P: … so no hanky panky…
Me: ???
P: It’s okay to study in groups, but i dont encourage you to study in pairs… one boy one girl…. lead to hanky panky….
Me: ?!?!
… after that opening address i never really bothered to hear what he had to say for the 2 years i was there.
