Taiwan Holiday~ 21 - 26 May 06 (Highlights)


Early morning 6am, getting ready for departure~


Smelly tofu!!! Richard couldn't tahan the smell, but the taste is really not that bad lar~ really!


Our Taiwanese friend Yingxiu, whom Ric got to know during the 2002 Taiwan immersion. A very nice girl who brought us around for 3 days~ This was taken at 淡水 DanShui.

I love Taiwan Railway! *roar~*


The famous 101 tower, think it's still the tallest at the moment... The fast food retail Mr Donut at the nearby NYNY was good! They sell a very large variety of donuts coupled with Coffee/Latte.


One of the night markets we visited! It was raining~ :(


Ric and I at the infamous Shih Lin Night Market~ Food galore! Even the fried chicken is super big and juicy! Much better than the one we have in Singapore~


官财板! Coffin boards! This is very nice, a must try! Toast fried til crispy, hollowed out and stuffed with sauce and stew. =) And the mango ice was great!



In order to buy the Taiwanese School Bag, we went undercover into a Local High School!!! And Ta Da! Old school retro eh? Made especially valuable by the adventure we had for trespassing the school~
